Education is a continuous and a creative process, the ultimate aim being to acquire knowledge. Due to globalization, commercialization and with the advent of the internet all boundaries have become irrelevant so children these days must think and be global. We at The British School encourage children to be proud of themselves and their achievements. We help them master new skills and concepts, to experience personal satisfaction, thus making learning more effective. We believe in igniting young minds with discipline and inculcating moral values amongst them. We train them to be responsible, problem solving and independent thinking global adults.

Students also need to acquire skills for facing and overcoming competition. We help them develop an inquisitive mind for exploration and to push forward through the frontiers of present day knowledge. For our students this encompasses improvement and development of talents, widening of out look, sharpening of vision, strengthening of character, showing concern for environment, cultivating clean habits, and experiencing the legitimate joys of life in a hundred more ways to make living in this world a pleasure. According to me thats what Education is all about, enriching ones life, developing personality and preparation for adulthood.

Happy faces, confident smiles, a distinct way of learning and a sense of achievement: This is how countless visitors to The British School describe their first impressions and we are overjoyed that this is so.

The primary focus in the hearts and minds of all the staff here is the complete happiness and welfare of every individual, and the evidence of this is plain to see. As I go about the school I see children not only working hard to reach their full potential but also reaching beyond their expectations; I see children playing together and cooperating in the most imaginative ways; I see them having fun together on a myriad of projects, activities and hobbies; I see them creating art, making music and achieving in sports on an impressive scale; I see them performing on stage in shows and concerts to the highest standards - never do they fail to delight me.

TBS has some wonderful facilities and you can glimpse these as you read this prospectus. Most parents, in my experience, consider only the academic side of a school. I hope that this is true of TBS as all pupil gain excellent exam results. However, there is much more to it at TBS: ample of talent amongst both children and staff. What matters more than anything else is the happiness of children which in turn gives them the confidence to give their best. TBS specializes in happiness and fun, I assure you, and we mix this with a generous topping of the traditional values, manners and courtesy, which are also so important.
