Admissions Guidelines

ADMISSION GUIDELINES

The school accepts Application Forms for Admissions up to the end of February each year. Admissions are granted subject to the availability of seats and solely at the discretion of the school authorities. Applications will be put on a waiting list if there are no vacancies. Mere submission of the application form should not be construed as granting of admission. The Principal/Director reserves the right to decide the class in which the child is to be admitted. The school management and the Principal/Director can revise the fees and other charges at the beginning of the new academic session. Fee and other charges once paid are not refunded on any account either in full or in part. For re-admission, the arrears of fee with other dues and re-admission fee of Rs.1000/- shall be paid. Students coming from other schools must provide a transfer certificate from the school last attended.
The prospective parents/guardians are advised to visit the school campus before taking any decision about applying for their wards. The step by step procedure for admitting a child into TBS is:

Submit a fully filled Admission Application Form at the campus along with the registration fee as mentioned in the Fee Structure.
After a scrutiny of the application form, the school will fix a meeting with the child and the parents on a mutually convenient date. The child will also be required to undergo an assessment process to ascertain his/her level of proficiency and acceptability at TBS. This test is only for admission to Foundation Year III and upwards.
After a successful assessment and meeting with the head of the institution, the school will grant admission within 48 working hours as soon as the fulfillment of financial and other formalities is done by parents. In case the parent does not make the payment within 48 hours, the registration fee will stand forfeited.
At the time of reporting to the school for the first time, parents are required to contact the Admission officer cum PRO.

MODE OF PAYMENT FOR SCHOOL DUES
The school dues are to be deposited with the Extension counter of the Bank located in the school premises.Dues for the month of to be paid before or by 10th in the month March-April -March 10th May-June -May 10th
July-August -July 10th
September-October -September 10th
November-December -November 10th
January to February -January 10th

The remittance of the school fee in time is the responsibility of the parent/guardian as per the due dates mentioned above. Delayed payments will attract penal charges at Rs.100/- from 11th to 20th and Rs. 150/- from 21st to 30th .The names of those students, who fail to deposit their dues even upto 30th, will automatically stand struck off from the school rolls.
The defaulters may be readmitted after paying re-admission fee of Rs. 1000/- along with outstanding dues. The Principal/Director, however, reserves the right to refuse re-admission to such students. The school academic session is from 1st March to 28th February. No cheque will be accepted after the 5th of scheduled month.

Note : Reception period is embedded in Foundation year 1 for the children between (2 years to 2.5 years). They move to FY-1 after 3 months depending upon their performance and after a meeting of parents and management.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
WITHDRAWAL: In case a child is to be withdrawn from the school during the academic year at least a month’s notice of withdrawals must be given in written by the parent/guardian, otherwise the parents would be required to pay the fee for the following month as well. If child is to be withdrawn in the beginning of the following year, written notice must reach the Principal/Director before the first February of the current year. Transfer Certificate can be issued only after the fee and dues have been cleared by the parents.

ATTENDANCE: Parents should appreciate that excessive absence from school on the part of child has an adverse affect on the child’s progress. The school seeks the active support and cooperation of the parents in maintaining the high disciplinary standards that will ultimately benefit the child.

TRANSPORT FACILITY: The school runs a limited bus service in the close vicinity of Panchkula, Chandigarh, Mohali and Kharar. The routing of the buses is dependent upon demand and is provided on a no-profit-no-loss basis. The school does not undertake to run buses to all the areas, and parents cannot expect the buses to be routed entirely for individual convenience though every endeavour is made to suit each family. Parents are requested to kindly wait at the Pick-Up /Drop Off points at least 5 minutes in advance. The details can be had from the school’s information office.

UNIFORM: Details of uniform are given by admission in-charge, once the child is admitted in school.
